Mantanani Island - Snorkelling / Diving

Mantanani Islands is located in the northwest of Kota Belud and is made up of three isolated islands. It takes approximately 40 minutes by speedboat to reach the islands though this is dependent on sea conditions. Blessed with an abundance of marine life and surrounded by crystal clear waters washing ashore onto white, sandy beaches, the islands are the perfect destination for snorkeling, scuba diving, and even island hopping.

One of Mantanani Islands' main attractions is because of the 'dugong' or the sea cow which is known to reside around the island. Dugong sightings are however, not guaranteed as they are shy animals and will distance themselves if they spot crowds. It should also be known that dugongs are highly endangered and populations are dwindling so luck is very much needed to be able to spot one!

Pick up at hotel lobby and head for Rampayan Jetty, Kota belud. road trip duration : 2hours.

EX JETTY LOCATION

Boat transfer 

Arrive at jetty. Relax and refreshing, while guide ready all the preparation for guest. About 0930hrs, take a boat to Mantanani island. with the journey taking approximately 45minutes by boat, depending on the weather.

Anchor 1

LongTail Beach

First Arrive at Mantanani LongTail Beach visitting and take photos. Activity time: about 20 minutes.

Mantanani island Diving or Snorkelling

1030hrs: Arrive at Mantanani island and start preparing for respective activities (snorkeling / leisure diving / discover scuba diving). Light refreshments served. 2 snorkeling point(very depending on weather).

Lunch

1230hrs: Buffet Lunch provided, (1) Buffet Lunch ; (2) Seafood Shell Out+Buffet

Free & Leisure
